mobilecrunch gibt ein umfangreiches Review zu dem “umfassensten mobile media Dienst” im mobile web2.0 und auch ich hab mir die Plattform mal näher angesehn. Leider ist meine Recherche nur auf die Website des Dienstes beschrnänkt da gerade meine Mobile (Sony Ericsson V800) eines der wenigen unsupported Devices ist.

Bluepulse bietet einfach alles was man sich unter einer mobile web2.0 Plattfrom vorstellt. Eine kleine Auswahl: Messaging, IM, Chat, Ortsbezogene Informationen, Speicherung von Multimedia Inhalten, Widgets zur Integration von bekannten web2.0 Diensten wie flickr, blogger aber auch wetter infos usw…, Profil, sozial networking Funktionen.

Für Entwickler gibt es ein eigenes SDK um eigene Widgets o.ä. zu programmieren. Interessant hier auch die Möglichkeiten des SDK’s laut eigener Aussage von bluepulse:

Auch gibt es für Publisher oder Advertiser die möglichkeit auf der mobilen bluepulse Plattform zu werben. Im Großen und Ganzen was ich ohne die echte App zu testen gesehn hab, ist eine große community plattform mit aktuellen web2.0 Elementen, die sicher noch Seinesgleichen sucht. Leider ist der Fokus der Hersteller auf den US Raum, was hier in Europa noch Freiraum für gleichartige Plattformen gibt. Und die werden mit Sicherheit bald kommen!
