Die Mobile Web Best Practices Working Group der W3C Mobile Web Initiative hat heute die finale Version 1.0 ihres Mobile Web Best Practices Dokumentes publiziert. Die Best Practises enthält eine Reihe von Empfehlungen wie man Information in mobilen Webseiten am Besten darstellt.
Als nächstes bereitet die MWI eine neue Recommendation zum Thema Mobile Web Applications vor. Auf alle Fälle ein wichtiger Schritt in ein standardgetriebenes mobiles Web.

WordPress hat nun eine eigene IPhone Applikation am Start. Die Anwednung gibt es natürlich kostenfrei im Apple AppStore zum downloaden. Unterstützt werden von der App neben gehosteten Blog auf der hauseigenen wordpress.com Plattform auch stand-alone Installation ab der WordPress Version 2.5.1. Und so sieht das Ganze in etwa aus:
